Periodic Electrical Inspections

All electrical installations naturally deteriorate over time, and regular inspections are essential to identify any potential risks before they become costly or hazardous. An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), sometimes called ‘fixed wire testing’ or ‘periodic inspection,’ is crucial in ensuring your electrical systems remain in safe working order.

Industrial Premises

Every 3 years for industrial premises.

Commercial Premises

Every 5 years for commercial premises.

Domestic Premises

Every 10 years for domestic premises.

Safeguarding Your Business and Compliance

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Electricity at Work Regulations, employers are legally obligated to ensure the electrical safety of their premises.

By keeping your certification up to date, you not only ensure compliance but also provide peace of mind for both employees and customers, knowing that your premises are safeguarded from electrical risks.

Did you know?

Failing to maintain regular electrical inspections can invalidate your business insurance coverage in the event of an incident.
